Bob Bracy, creator of the Raider, the Manta and the Roamer snowmobiles, also made the first push-thru stud in 1975. He took a cold-headed elevator bolt and machined a groove to accept the brazed in carbide. It had an 80 degree carbide wedge and a 5/16" threaded shaft. It had a shoulder and an Allen wrench head.
