Scott, I live in NW Iowa and we do a lot of river riding…and we tend to ride pretty aggressively. I have C&A skis with 8” carbides and about 160 studs. My problem was with the aggressive set up I was hunting and darting a lot. I have not yet tried the ski savers as I don’t want to lose any of my cornering ability. I did install the shims and have about 700 miles on them. The sled is a completely different animal. Still corners great but 80-90% of the darting is gone. Would have paid $20 just for the shims. I’ve even tried to get it to follow the ruts and it just goes straight! Glad I stumbled onto your info on the website. Millions of dollars of engineering still cannot replace good old common sense. Thanks Brent S.
