Why a price increase?
I've always focused on keeping my prices low. I've kept my operation small, with minimal inventory, and for the most part, I manufacture the carbides as the orders come in.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to satisfy an ever-increasing demand for my products. This season has taught me that I need to look further into the future.
In order to meet the increasing demand, I need to start producing on a year-round basis. This means more equipment, more people, and more material. Unfortunately, it also means a price increase.
If you were unable to purchase carbides this last season, I apologize. I'll do better in the future, and hope you continue to look to Bergstrom Skegs for your carbides. We believe we have the best carbides on the market, and even with the price increase, my prices will still be lower that my competitors.
If you order now you'll be able to avoid the price increase. I'll hold my current prices until my carbide runs out.
Thanks for your continuing loyalty.
