Installation Instructions
"It may be required to enlarge the existing holes of your ski due to the heavy-duty fasteners.... This modification can be achieved with a standard drill and a 3/8" bit.... In some applications, it may be necessary to elongate the lead entrance hole of your ski to 1/2". |
Trying to get a 3/8" bolt through a 3/8" hole is not practical. Add to this any slight variation of multiple bolt locations (and the added thickness of plastic skis) and you'll find wear bar installation to be a nightmare! | |

Smarter Ski Design | ||
Yamaha's Phazer (1984-1998) ski was a smarter design.
The front bolt hole was round (3/8") while the back three were elongated. The bolts were all 5/16." |
