Arctic Cat Torque
Apparently, Arctic Cat's engineers forgot to turn their computers on when designing the 2009 Turbo sleds. How else can you explain why belts were blowing-out so soon?
Belt blow-outs were caused by a misalignment between the engine and the jackshaft.
Dealers that cared had the parts machined to align the belt.
Through the rumor mills, I heard Cat kept quiet about the problem and told dealers to put on harder belts to extend the belts life instead of correcting the problem.
Again, through the rumor mills I heard that customers that got loud enough got more attention.
Torque Control Links were around back in the 70's and 80's.
