More Saber "SMART PAD"

 

Saber claimed 50% and 80% longer life of the turning carbide by adding "Smart pads". Later, they changed the name to Leading Wear Pad and dropped their claims of decreasing wear of turning carbide.

When they added Smart Pads in 2001 they claimed they "Decreased wear of turning carbide by 50%. They also advertised Leading Wear Pads prolong steering carbide life by 80%, even though they made no changes to the wear bars.
