Here’s our latest observation on future technology for snowmobiles. We need power steering! The ATV biz is exploding with available power steering equipped models. At this writing Polaris, Yamaha, Can-Am, Suzuki and Honda have all introduced power steering systems for their upscale, Sport-Utility models. Could power steering be the ultimate answer to darting and hunting problems while the same time bring a new level of comfort and ease of control for female and smaller riders? Yeah, we know it could also generate enough force to snap tie rod ends when the sled is parked and the skis are frozen to the snow. …. Suzuki’s ATV system even uses a load sensor on the handlebar pole to counteract unwanted feedback coming from the wheels. Hmm? That’s exactly what we’re looking for!

Apparently, Supertrax doesn’t think the sleds cost or weigh enough.

Going into the 2010 season and they still don’t have a clue!!! Now, that is sad!!!!!!
